Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing

  • Ensure error free monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare and review schedules for financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and company policies.
  • Perform General Ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations for balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
  • Assist in ensuring accuracy of accounting entries and proper classification of transactions.
  • Prepare supporting schedules relating to Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE), CWIP, capital advances, borrowings, and other key balance sheet items.
  • Support preparation of management reports and financial analysis.

2. Accounting & Compliance

  • Assist in implementation and compliance of Ind AS requirements.
  • Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure proper accounting for PPE, lease accounting, capitalization of costs, and project-related accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.

3. Audit Support

  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors and provide required data and schedules.
  • Assist in responding to audit queries and closure of audit observations.
  • Maintain audit documentation and ensure timely submission of information.

4. Regulatory Reporting

  • Support preparation of regulatory filings and disclosures under the Companies Act and other applicable regulations.
  • Assist in Related Party Transaction (RPT) tracking, reconciliations, documentation and disclosures.
  • Support XBRL, DPT-3, and other statutory reporting requirements as applicable.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Ind AS, Companies Act and financial reporting requirements.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within strict reporting timelines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

  • CA with relevant experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, or finance functions.
  • Experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, EPC, or project-based industries and Manufacturing accounting will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to month-end closing activities.
  • Experience in preparation of audit schedules and financial reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Ind AS, Companies Act compliance, and financial reporting processes.
