Position: Head - Learning & Development

Years of Experience: 15-20 years (Max)

Location: Nariman Point, South Mumbai

Qualification: MBA - HR (Full Time)

Reports to: Head - Strategic HR, OE & Learning

Job Description:

Develop and implement a holistic learning and development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.

Plan and adhere to learning budget for the organization and ensure optimization of cost through innovative efforts.

Identify and address skill gaps within the organization through targeted development programs. Ensure effective and timely individual learning need identification as well as Focus Group Training Needs.

Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning interventions.

Execute Leadership Academies of Tata Power and continuously review content, format and partnerships for relevance and effectiveness. Ensure value to organization through identification, monitoring and execution of Action Learning Projects.

Execute Future Skill Academies of Tata Power and continuously review content, format and partnerships for relevance and effectiveness.  Ensure value to organization through identification, monitoring and execution of Action Learning Projects.

Manage and continuously enrich the e-learning offerings through Gyankosh. Ensure it is effective adoption and effective utilization.

Design educational offerings for employees in identified areas through partnerships. Execute, monitor and improve Higher Education Support Policy.

Establish metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of learning programs. Analyze data to assess the impact of learning initiatives on employee performance and organizational outcomes.

Work closely with senior leadership, BHR, partners and other stakeholders to design and address learning needs.

Communicate the value and impact of L&D initiatives to the broader organization.

 

Functional Competencies:

Strategic Planning and Implementation: Ability to develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals.

Instructional Design and Curriculum Development: Expertise in designing and developing effective training programs and curricula that address the diverse learning needs of employees. This includes knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and various delivery methods

Data Analysis and Learning Metrics: Skill in using data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of learning programs. This includes setting key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing training outcomes, and leveraging insights to continuously improve learning initiatives.
