Job Summary:

The Regional Trade Marketing Manager will be a key driver of demand generation and brand visibility in south region for our Tata Power Solaroof Brand. This role involves leading a team of Market Development Officers (MDOs) to execute strategic marketing initiatives, foster strong relationships with channel partners, and ultimately expand our market presence in both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Residential segments. The ideal candidate with a strong understanding of trade marketing, customer engagement, and a proven track record of achieving business growth through effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing plans aligned with national objectives and local market dynamics.
    • Identify strategic business clusters within the region and formulate engagement and activation plans tailored to these areas.
  • Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Business Promotion:
    • Actively network with industrial associations, business chambers, and key influencers within the C&I sector to conduct engagement and onboarding activities.
    • Represent the company at industrial expos and trade shows to promote brand awareness and offerings.
    • Organize and execute inauguration events for new solar plant installations.
    • Conduct meetings with banking institutions to drive brand and product awareness among potential clients.
  • Residential Business Promotion
    • Orchestrate and oversee on-ground canopy activities in identified localities, in close collaboration with channel partners, to promote the brand.
    • Ensure robust participation and representation at residential expos in the region.
  • Brand Visibility & Merchandising Management:
    • Oversee and enhance brand visibility across the region through effective trade branding initiatives at channel partner locations, retailers, and showrooms.
    • Manage and execute customer branding initiatives at C&I and residential sites to maximize brand recall.
    • Ensure timely deployment and optimal utilization of POSM, marketing kits, brochures, and other merchandising assets to the trade network.
  • Lead & Program Management:
    • Plan, execute, and monitor lead generation activities with the Market Development Officer (MDO) team.
    • Ensure meticulous and timely updates of all generated leads within the Salesforce CRM system, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
    • Strategize, implement, and drive influencer and referral programs to leverage word-of-mouth marketing and expand reach.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management:
    • Lead, mentor, train, and continuously monitor the performance of the Market Development Officers (MDOs) in the region.
    • Conduct continuous analysis of regional performance metrics and guide the MDO team to achieve their demand generation goals.
    • Develop and implement effective beat plans for MDO activities to optimize coverage and efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Maintain the highest level of collaboration with channel partners and the regional sales team to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans and integrated business development efforts.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Customer Engagement & Advocacy:
    • Design and execute engagement programs with customers, including the distribution of green certificates.
    • Actively work on building a comprehensive library of customer success stories, case studies, and testimonials to bolster marketing efforts.
  • Event Management & Activations:
    • Take an active interest and contribute significantly to the planning and execution of national and regional marketing events.
    • Plan and implement hyper local events to enhance brand presence and engagement.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of activity MIS (Management Information System) reports.
    • Maintain meticulous documentation of all marketing and lead generation activities for monitoring, auditing, and future strategic planning.
