Role Purpose-

The Sales Analyst will support the sales leadership by providing actionable insights through data analysis, forecasting, performance tracking, and market intelligence. The role is critical in driving data-backed decision-making to improve sales effectiveness, revenue growth, and pipeline conversion.

 

Key Responsibilities-

  • Analyze sales performance across regions, channels, products, and customer segments
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, MIS reports, and performance scorecards
  • Track key sales KPIs such as pipeline health, conversion ratios, revenue achievement, and forecast accuracy
  • Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and annual operating plan (AOP) exercises
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve sales productivity and effectiveness
  • Provide insights on pricing, discounts, win-loss analysis, and deal profitability
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Business teams to align data and insights
  • Support CRM data analysis and ensure data accuracy and hygiene
  • Prepare presentations and analytical summaries for leadership reviews

 

Key Skills & Competencies-

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, SAP, Zoho, or similar)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, funnels, and revenue metrics
  • Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills

 

Educational Qualification-

  • MBA / PGDM (Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Analytics) or
  • BE / BTech with relevant analytics and sales experience
  • Experience Requirement
  • 5–8 years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, or commercial analytics
  • Prior experience supporting B2B / B2C sales teams is preferred
  • Exposure to multi-region or multi-channel sales environments is an advantage
