Role Overview
The Resident Manager – Corporate Affairs will be responsible for managing government relations, securing project approvals, and strengthening the organization’s presence within the Rajasthan administrative ecosystem. The role requires a strong understanding of public affairs, regulatory frameworks, and the ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders across government bodies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Government Relations & Liaison
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials in Rajasthan state government departments.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and government authorities.
- Engage proactively with bureaucrats, regulatory bodies, and local administration.
2. Project Approvals & Clearances
- Drive end-to-end approval processes for projects (land, statutory, environmental, etc.).
- Track and expedite clearances from various state departments.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
3. Public Affairs & Policy Advocacy
- Monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and political landscape in Rajasthan.
- Represent the organization in industry forums, government meetings, and stakeholder consultations.
- Support advocacy efforts aligned with business objectives.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Develop strong networks with government officials, local influencers, and industry bodies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, business, project, HR) to align on approval strategies.
- Manage relationships with external consultants and advisors.
5. Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution
- Identify potential regulatory or political risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues related to government authorities efficiently.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs / Government Relations / Public Affairs.
- Proven track record of handling government approvals and regulatory processes.
- Experience working in Rajasthan or with Rajasthan government departments is highly preferred.

- Strong network within Rajasthan bureaucracy and administrative ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of public affairs, policy frameworks, and regulatory processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
